Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of informatization of the processes of storage, acquisition, accounting and use of archival documents in archival institutions of the Russian Federation based on automated archival technologies. It is determined the principles and directions of informatization of archives, considered the regulatory framework for the storage of electronic documents, an information accounting system, automation systems for archival activities, issues of ensuring the information needs of users of archival information.
