Supervision of documents of private bodies during the years 1993–2023 in Lithuania: legal and practical aspects

This article discusses the issue of control over the documentation management of private legal entities in Lithuania (including non-State persons) during the last three decades. The article includes analysis of the right of ownership of private legal entities and individuals, legal transfer of such documents to the state archives, various aspects of the supervision over the management of documents and topical issues currently arising in the accumulation of the National Documents Fond.
